In today’s episode, Allan welcomes Andy McDowell. Andy is an engineer by trade, and spent 22 years with the Boeing Company, where he always felt more like a life coach than a boss. So in 2002, he began his journey into entrepreneurship. Allan and Andy discuss the importance of creating a constructive feedback culture, to talk to people about things that they can improve on. It is also important to encourage a culture of feedback for the leaders themselves, to make themselves vulnerable, where they receive feedback, and demonstrate how to receive this feedback without being defensive.
